Site of the original city, the Castle Hill once boasted a reputedly impregnable citadel that was entirely dismantled by the soldiers of King Louis XIV in 1706. Today you will find the ancient cemetery &#8211; an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place bursting with sculptures and ornate mausoleums &#8211; and the chateau ruins. It is also where you will find the waterfall (la cascade) that can be seen from our balcony. This 660-hectare park offers breathtaking views from San Remo, Italy to Saint-Tropez and sometimes, when visibility is good, it is even possible to see Corsica on the horizon.
